I find the best way to kill him is just shoot lead at him while he kills the other guys, so when he is up to you, give it about three seconds and his dead.

You are welcome Dave, and thanks for giving me ideas Immortal. Dlux! How dare you steal my honor and glory by taking the thanks that Dave was supposed to give me! The Prophets shake their heads down at you. JK, JK.
I know this is sidetracking, but has anyone ever played Need for Speed Most Wanted? I love that game.
And has anyone ever been bored enough to drive their warthog through the vast ocean in Silent Cartogropher in Halo 1? In H2, you get blocked by an invisible wall. I went to 50 ft below the surface till I got bored and suicide bombed byself with a rocket launcher rather than turning back. (I love bombing. Immortal knows, yes he does...)

Now, getting back to topic, the shotgun and energy sword are the most effective against flood. Do any of you have any other solutions to flood clean up?
And, why are Seargents in Halo african american? (Not being racist, Will Smith is my acting hero).
I like pie.
And are duel wielding plasma rifles and needlers a good wield? Just wondering. Havn't played Halo in a while. I didn't have a life for a while. Stupid Final Exams.
I am done.

Flood Help, or something like it: I found that, for some strange reason, while the human sniper rifle doesn't work, the Covenant ones do. Way to play the race card, Bungie. Also, grenades are always my "Flood-Lysol", as are rocket launchers, though sometimes this can (quite literally) blow up in your face with the close quarters chaos that is Anti-flood combat. (I'd like to take a moment to give a shout out to Half-Jaw, the Covenant's Sgt. Johnson, a.k.a. the only crazy 1337 elite elite-enough to take on a HORDE OF THE FLOOD (!!!!!!) with an energy sword!!! w000000t!!!) anywho, back on topic, regarding tartarus.....i gave an elite a Beam Rifle, and another one a human sniper rifle, and those two and Sgt. Johnson killed Tartarus for me while I ran away screaming like a grunt. I like that strategy, it's less Hammer-induced painful.

Madness and genius are both only seperated by a few successes and an explosion or two.

This still makes me giggle and smile.... http://www.stcallonme.ytmnd.com

yeah i still think that it is better to use the banshee from previous area and just ram him lol its cool becase it only takes one hit but teh way i usualy do it is twin needlers wait till his shields ae down and you can get at least a half clip from each gun into him so it does enough damage as for the flood try a shoptgun most efective but you can also meele them i know it says dont get up close but if you do it right you can get a good combo going ant kill them very easily :P

How long have they been making Halo 3 for? Because I know Halo 2 took just a little over 22 months to make, fine tune, and ship out.
